Sensor Data

Sensor Data is the main function of NexusEdgeGw that enabling NexusIM eligible device act as an IIoT Gateway. It provides an easy-to-use webUI to configure data acquisition from Southbound Devices (sensor, IO devices, PLC, IP-based device…), convert or filter data locally, then sending it out or be retrieved to Northbound Applications by many kinds of industrial protocols (MQTT, SparkplugB, Modbus, OPCUA, BACnet, DNP3…).

📄️Config

Go to Sensor Data >> Basic to Enable/Disable the Sensor Data features, and set the collect period, report period in seconds. Also Enable/Disable Cache locally

📄️Interfaces

Interfaces setting refers to the peripheral hardware interfaces on NexusIM gateway that for Southbound devices connect on. Including RS485/RS232 COM ports, Ethernet ports, and IO (IO settings locate at Sensor Data>>Devices and Rules>>IO).
